SunoMusic grieves

We at SunoMusic is shocked with the Mumbai Terror. It is a tragedy to see our great nation getting attacked liked this.  Was shocking to read newspaper reports terming our India as second most violent country in the world after Iraq.  NO, we don’t deserve it.  We are a peace loving country and we have a great history of tolerance.  At this point of time, let’s not point fingers at others but do throrough introspection at oursleves and root out the problems.  Let’s join together and cross the troubled times together.  We are sure, it is just a phase and we can overcome if we stand united.

Our heartfelt condolences to all the affected parties. Hope the hostage crisis is over soon and the people are united with their families quickly.

Dostana on its way to become a big hit

“DOSTANA has collected 28 crores at the end of first week from India alone” announced Karan Johar.  Considering the sensitivity of subject and market conditions it is a graet  news.

“Dharma Productions as well as Yash Raj Films, which has distributed the film, are extremely happy with the way DOSTANA has worked at the box office”, adds Karan Johar.

With no competition and Sharukh & Aamir’s  movies few weeks away, Dostana is on its way to become a big hit.  And will prove to be a money spinner. “I have been informed that the film has done well in the second weekend as well though I am waiting for the official numbers to come in. I am not surprised though since audience is watching it the second time around as well” added Karan.

Kudos to Karan and his team for trying out a daring subject and carrying it through in the box office.

Aspiring Bollywood Director from Germany

Agreed, music has no boundaries and is like wind.   Here is a story we have for you.

We have an aspiring Bollywood movie director from Germany ! Yes, Germany. You read it right. Germany.  Candidate’s name is Julia and she is a nursing student.  Her biggest hobby is watching Bollywood movies and creating ‘new movies’.  She declares that her biggest obsession is editing.  Check out some her ‘works’

“Ghajini” remake of the highly successful  Tamil movie of the same name is actually an adaptation of Christopher Nolan’s Mementoes based on ‘Short Term Memory Loss’. South Indian Actress Asin stars opposite Aamir in female lead along with Jiah Khan.  Music by A.R. Rahman and Direction by Murugadoss , the man who called the shots for the Tamil version also.

We are trying to source Ghajini music to add it to the SunoMusic library.  If anybody has purchased it legally, please give us the contact details.
